Chapter Eighteen
JINGER
When I wake again, Iâm splayed out like a naked starfish across the bed, face down. The sunrise is bursting through the edges of the curtains, and Eros is missing. The sound of the shower running makes my heart race, and I glance at the clock to find itâs just after 8 a.m.âEros mustâve just finished his workout. The very thought of three hours of sweating makes me sweatâworkout accomplished.
How the man was up that late and up again is beyond my comprehension. I glance around, trying to remember the very last thing that happened before I fell asleep, and it comes flooding back into my memory. The touch of him on my skin below, handling me with delicate care. The thought makes my groin twitch, needy for his hands.
My tired eyes are still blurry, but thereâs enough drive behind them to float naked across the room to the bathroomâsomehow my feet manage to follow. I gently twist the doorknob, silently peering around the slab. The full-blown sight of him isâ¦fatal when not administered properly. I lean back into the counter to take a breath and bump his gel off the counter. The tube floats through the air slower than molasses, but not slow enough for my butterfingers to catch it before it makes a doink on the floor that draws his attention.
âThereâs my girl,â he says, pulling the see-thru glass open to invite me inside.
Obviously thereâs nothing more exciting than a shower with Eros, so I take his hand. Iâm underneath the warm stream of water in half a second and it heats my bones as he pulls me close, increasing my temperature with his perfectly sculpted bodyâthat he earned thanks to these 5 a.m. workouts. âItâs so early,â I whine, snuggling up to his neck to hide from the light above our heads. Why my dad never installed a heat lamp is beyond me.
On any normal day off, Iâd sleep in until at least nine. Next to Eros, though, just a few hours will suffice, apparently. âYou couldâve stayed in bed, agápi mou.â His lips follow his words in smooth succession, proving his devotion.
âBut you werenât thereâ¦â I canât respond to the second half of that becauseâ¦what? I lean away from him and let the hot water stream between our bodies.
âI am beyond delighted to see you now...â He plants the words at the nape of my neck before growling and pulling me close enough to feel how delighted he truly is.
Thereâs no separation between us at all. No boxer-briefs, no thongânothing. His cock presses into my groin, ready for attention, but he ignores it completely, stroking his fingertips down my back.
âYouâre not kidding.â I lean up to kiss his mouth, taking his lip between my teeth as his hands fully grasp around my ass. In my books, the female character tends to just go for it, reciprocating sexually, and simply engaging the male character. Iâve never done it, but I donât see why I canât. I take his lip with my teeth for an extra second as I go, kneeling before him.
